Hybrid Contact lenses

SynergEyes Hybrid contact lenses combine the superior optics of a corneal rigid gas permeable (RGP) lens with the comfort of a soft contact lens. The rigid centre provides great vision and can correct irregular corneal astigmatism while the soft skirt enhances comfort and provides stability. The lenses are made with a UV blocker for added protection and high oxygen permeability for healthy flow of oxygen to the cornea.

These contact lenses are most commonly prescribed for people with astigmatism, keratoconus and irregular corneas where glasses and soft contact lenses do not provide sufficient visual correction. They may also be prescribes for existing corneal RGP lens wearers to improve comfort.
